This year I have decided to start writing more Christian content for leadership development, and so I have a new project that was created to initiate a drams team at Keypoint Church ion Bentonville, Arkansas. I have been a member, and volunteer at Keypoint Church for about 10 years, I began attending in 2014, and have been actively volunteering in: youth ministry, greeting, and usher teams since 2018. We have seen a lot of growth & expansion in our church over the last 5 years. New staff; to include: pastors, elders, worship leaders, and more. The idea of having a “drama team” has been discussed, so to share that information with more people-I am posting a play script here. The second half of the title, (because it was too too fit & google searches) I would say its 90% complete as I would use a theme song. I have chosen a song that was a collaboration betwen Skillet & Tauren Wells-Take It All Back. This would be the runtime of 3:25 minutes.
Now for the playscript, ok ya’ll here it is. Anyone is welcome to provide feedback, and I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Anointed Mission Statement
The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free. Luke 4:18
This play is more than just a performance—it is a divine calling to visually and creatively teach the redemptive truths of the Gospel. The Holy Spirit is present, watching, and empowering. This is an offering of worship, a call to battle, and a declaration of victory in Jesus Christ. All glory to Him!
Synopsis
*This play illustrates the spiritual warfare of the mind, showing how negative thoughts become strongholds that trap believers in sin and despair which prevents us from thinking clearly, repenting from sin, and obeying scripture. Christ followers often struggle with having the right thinking. When we allow the wrong thought patterns to take hold of our mind, it causes traps of sin-which build strongholds. (Think of them like false castles that oppose the promises that come from the fruit of God’s word. This play- it follows three Christian characters:
- ? (High School Student) – Faces anxiety and fear of failure.
- ? (Middle-Aged Christian) – Struggles with addiction and past mistakes.
- ? (Combat Veteran/First Responder) – Battles PTSD and traumatic memories.
These individuals are relentlessly harassed by dark forces—Fear, Doubt, Guilt, Anger, Lust, Pride, and Greed—who attempt to imprison their minds. Through prayer, scripture, and divine intervention, they learn to take their thoughts captive and submit them to Christ, ultimately breaking free from bondage.

This play is about modern day Christians who are currently living in May 2025 from Northwest Arkansas. Many people have recently moved from other states because of economic & natural disasters, and have started life over here in Northwest Arkansas. They have come to learn that Jesus is the Key, and people are the Point. The school season is about to finally end, so families, and individuals are looking forward to the summer season. People are excited about taking a vacation soon, folks’ emotions are running at high-full tilt. We discover that there are three separate individuals that attend Keypoint Church.
